Designed from actual New York Central drawings, these concrete state line markers were used to show where the railroad crossed from one state to another. These two sided markers are positioned so that the side facing the train is the state that they are about to enter. 

These markers need to be painted before installation on your railroad. We suggest washing the posts first in soapy hot water and scrub the letters with an old toothbrush to remove any leftover production residue. Then paint with a flat white primer. When thoroughly dry dab black acrylic craft paint into the recessed letters then immediately wipe off with a damp paper towel. If additional wipes are needed use a clean section of the paper towel, leaving the black paint in the recessed areas. Drill a 1/16" hole to mount to your railroad.
